Governments, in order to facilitate their citizens, offer housing schemes for middle or lower class people. Also there are some organizations or local government bodies offering housing finance. These loans are not valid for investment purposes, but if you are looking to purchase a home for your own use, you must look into these schemes. If you are eligible for such loans, the rates will be much lower than commercial loans. Family or your credit cards:

Borrowing from your family or friends is another good option. Unlike commercial lenders, they will be much more cooperative (depending on your relations).
